Popping my Whip Cherry

My husband and I recently attended Fetish Con 2018 in St Petersburg and had a blast! But this time things were very different for us. We attended several times as just guests but this time we went as a vendor. I have been in the lifestyle and brought my husband into it, he is not vanilla, and he is learning the proper ways of BSDM. I love that these events offer educational classes and he even got 1 on 1 mentoring from a Dom who gave him some exceptional advice of everyday BDSM not just full out scene-ing dungeon time. It can be a casual in the kitchen grab me by the hair, forcibly kiss me, leave me breathless, and then demand I make him a sandwich. A simple spank on the bottom in passing to remind me that he sees me. It is about attitude of both Dom and sub, and mutual respect in all aspects of day to day. Master BJ we cannot express enough our gratitude for the valuable lessons you gave to my husband and my first, but definitely not last, whipping experience.

I watched this Dom whip the volunteering subs and I was equally apprehensive as I was fascinated. My husband has used bamboo canes, little floggers, etc… but we were watching single tailed whips and 3 ft long leather floggers. I could not stop watching, I was in a vending booth a row over and every time I heard the delicious impact sounds of leather on skin then a moan, I grew more and more confident that I wanted to experience it.

I asked my husband if he minded, he said of course not and wanted to learn from a professional the safe way to use instruments such as these. I stood in the aisle of the convention looking into the eyes of my husband as Master BJ whipped me for the first time. It was a single tailed whip so you feel it like a tiny beat of a butterfly wing on the impact point, then it slowly blossoms into a yummy sting. I was given 10 marks and was very pleased that after about 5 minutes each of those stingy spots raised up into red welts, not painful at all, but left me feeling a sense of pride and extremely wet.

We went back 2 more times to experience his other instruments. I liked the stinginess but the single tailed whip is a more advanced tool we were not comfortable with using without more training. Knowing your limits and learning curve is vital in any safe and healthy BDSM activity. I learned I loved “thuddy” even more than “stingy”. Master BJ gave my husband lessons on how to use the instrument we chose and we are now proud owners of a 3 ft long elk leather flogger. Do not let the soft supple leather fool you this flogger can take your breath away. It is not your novelty weekend warrior pleather flogger (not that there is anything wrong with those) this is a massive “how the heck do I travel with this and not get arrested” instrument.

We went to this convention to educate about health and wellness and in return learned about everyday BDSM, whipping, and opening up our world to even more adventures.

We love it, we have yet to name it some masculine name that will come to us as we use it more. Is that just us or are we weird? Do other people name their instruments and furniture?
